Is this medical treatment?
No. Worthy Still provides biblical counseling and applied therapies. We do not medically diagnose or prescribe medication. Our focus is spiritual care, emotional support, and personal growth rooted in faith. When appropriate, we encourage collaboration with medical professional
Will I be forced to relive my trauma?
No. Our counseling is trauma-informed and paced gently. You are never pressured to revisit painful experiences. Healing is approached with care, respect, and consent, allowing trust to develop naturally.
Is this meditation or a spiritual practice outside of Christianity?
No. Reflection at Worthy Still is thoughtful awareness guided by Scripture, prayer, and conversation always aligns with Christian beliefs and values.
How is this different from “positive thinking”?
Worthy Still is not about forcing new thoughts or denying pain. Instead, we seek truth, understanding, and renewal, allowing scripture and wise counsel to gently reshape beliefs and perspectives. We love to look at God’s Word and ask, “who does God say that I am?”
Is this appropriate for youth and families?
Yes. Counseling is adapted to meet the emotional and developmental needs of women, youth, and families, using age-appropriate language, activities, and guidance.
What if I’m unsure or hesitant?
That’s okay. Many clients begin counseling with questions or concerns. We welcome open conversation and are committed to clarity, integrity, and honoring your comfort level throughout the process.

Who is children’s counseling for?
Worthy Youth is available for children and teens who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, relational, or spiritual challenges. This may include anxiety, grief, family transitions, trauma, behavioral changes, or difficulty expressing emotions.

Is Worthy Youth biblical?
Yes. All counseling at Worthy Still is grounded in Scripture and guided by biblical truth. Sessions are designed to support a child’s emotional and spiritual development while pointing them toward safety, truth, and hope in Christ.
Will my child be pressured to talk about difficult experiences?
No. Counseling is gentle and trauma-informed. Your child will never be forced to talk about experiences they are not ready to share. Sessions are paced carefully, allowing trust to grow naturally.

How are sessions structured for children?
Worthy Youth is developmentally appropriate and may include:

● Creative expression (drawing, activities, movement)
● Age-appropriate Scripture and prayer
● Emotional awareness and regulation skills
Each session is adapted to the child’s age, personality, and needs.
Will parents be involved in the counseling process?
Yes. Parents play a vital role. While children are given appropriate privacy, parents are regularly included through check-ins, guidance, and support. Counseling is meant to strengthen the family, not work in isolation.

How does counseling address trauma in children?
We recognize that trauma can affect a child’s emotions, behavior, and sense of safety. Counseling focuses on restoring stability, trust, and healthy coping skills without re-traumatizing the child. Healing is approached with patience, consistency, and care.

Is Worthy Youth confidential?
Yes, within appropriate boundaries. Confidentiality is honored while prioritizing the child’s safety and well-being. Parents will always be informed if there are concerns related to safety.
What if my child is hesitant or resistant?
This is very common. Counseling is introduced gently and respectfully. Many children become more comfortable once they feel safe, understood, and unpressured.

How do I know if counseling is right for my child?
If your child is struggling emotionally, behaviorally, or spiritually or if you sense something is off, counseling can be a supportive step. We are happy to talk through your concerns and help you decide.
What is the goal of Worthy Youth at Worthy Still?
Our goal is to help children feel safe, seen, and supported while growing in emotional resilience and spiritual grounding. We seek to nurture healing that strengthens both the child and the family.
